Installing Your Cork Floor
Our flooring comes in 2 options: floating planks or glue down tiles. Floating floors are much larger and lock together with a tongue and groove system that does not require any glue. Cork tiles are glued down. The tiles are less expensive, but installation is more time consuming and costly. The glue down tiles can only be installed over flat, dry surfaces, but the floating floor can be installed over a substrate that has some imperfections.
With floating floors, cork planks come in 1 x 3 feet dimensions, so DIY installation is quick, easy work that does not require glue, meaning you can walk on it immediately. All cork flooring come with a built-in underlayment to help lower room noise and feature three coats of durable factory finish.
